KERIKERI ARTS, CRAFT AND HISTORICAL TOUR
Departs daily from Paihia Maritime Centre or Motels at 1.15pm. Returning

This sub tropical region, is renowned for its fruit growing. This
leisurely tour, stops first to view Haruru Falls, and will take you
to a local orchard, selected arts and crafts, including NZ’s only
Kaleidoscope producer. Walk into picturesque 27 mtr Rainbow Falls,
then have time to view Rewa’s Village, The Stone Store and Kemp House,
NZ’s oldest stone and wooden buildings. Entries included for
historic buildings or afternoon tea at "The Landing Cafe".
And a short walk takes you to Hongi Hika’s, Kororipo Pa site. Try
hand made confectionary at our next stop, or wander around wood manufacturer
outlets.
This tour compliments the morning cruise excursions in Paihia and
meets coaches returning late afternoon to Auckland. |
